What does /afk do?

I noticed there is an "/afk" command. What exactly does it do?

When I try it, I get "You are now currently marked as away" and if I do it again "You have been marked as back". But if I do /playerlist in between, I don't see any difference in how I am listed.

Maybe this affects how I'm listed when others do /playerlist?

It would be great if there was a way for a player to turn off their iconomy money gathering, so they could sit at their trap without "cheating" on the coin gathering. Or, you could check your coin total before and after an AFK session and do "/money pay" or something to get rid of it.

But of course, that's impolite if the server is full. Six, do you currently have a limit set up now for max users?

To be honest I noticed the same thing, but keep forgetting to have someone else do a /playerlist or /who to see if it shows an AFK status. Other than that, I don't think it does anything else.

Ideally I would simply not pay them if they are afk. Right now the server doesn't put anyone in an auto afk status so it would be really easy to cheat the system. Preventing of the coin payment would require some customization of the iConomy plugin, which while possible in the future, once things settle down, would be nearly impossible to implement and keep up to date at this time.

It's taken me as long as six hours just to get all the plugins configured and working with each other. Modifying code that changes constantly would just eat up too much time at this point.
Currently set at 10 maximum users. We've had as many as six simultaneous with absolutely no lag or hiccups. That's also with a good many of those people using Dynamic Maps which likes to eat up quite a bit of it's own bandwidth. We should be able to hit 10 users with dynmaps or 15-20 without. That will be something we'll have to consider in the future. I'm happy with 10 good players and may just keep things setup this way.

AFK means away from keybord, is to tell other players that you will not be available to craft. Like a bath break

On ps3 and x-box AFK means away from controller

I'm thinking spambot being tested. The only three posts, less than 1 minute apart, all exact duplicates complete with spelling and grammar errors. On a two 1/2 year old post. Got my can of anti-spammer ready! :D

...just in case you didn't get the message? :D
